i’ve been wondering since it usually says on their page that it’s a verified account. how do they know for sure it’s really that celebrity’s page?

sometimes when i check my followers i see people who are inappropriate. now its getting really annoying! like a bunch of ’spammers’ or whatever u want to call them keep following me. how do i stop this? thanks a bunch!!
