Well to be honest I’m a 15 year old and in my generation this problem has been settled to be something normal you know? like people don’t care what people think anymore which is good
don’t blame yourself for this, i believe this is all natural and there really isn’t nothing you can do to change it your not the one to blame not one is
but what he needs right now is some one to be there for him, he needs you like every child need their mom It must have been terrible to find out this way but you need to be there for him regardless he is ur son and is the same person inside nothing should change
i know it seems weird but generations have been changing i hope i helped this is just my opinion but you should talk to him about it and don’t be so hard headed try being more open minded it’s something common trust me happens all around the world

There is nothing wrong with being gay. It’s how he feels and what he thinks he wants. Sooner or later if it really is right for him to go out with girls, then he’ll realize his mistake. He can’t learn from his mistakes if he doesn’t make them. It’s his life and what he thinks he wants. Sooner or later he’ll look back when he realizes it was a mistake and think of it as experimenting. If not, if he’s happy that way then shouldn’t you be happy for him, or at least try. If you had uncontrolable feelings for someone of the same sex and didn’t find the opposite apealing in any way or form would you want people tearing you down? Try doing some reasearch or take some time to get used to the idea, you’ll be surprised by how many people have choosen that path. If you still don’t want him to take that path try explaining to him why you’re concerned and why you’re against the idea and explained what he’ll be missing with a normal boy girl relationship and the all of the bad sides to his desition. But listen to what he has to say, and try to understand why he thinks this is what he wants. Do some reasearch and take some time before tallking to him though. And make sure you apologize, I’m sure you embaressed him and hurt his feelings. He’s only 16 and just descovering his sexuality, it’s hard.
