My House Is Only Cooling On One End Of The House, Why Is This Happening?

My house is only 6 months old. The side where the unit is located is the side that’s not getting cool. I have my thermostat set on 72. The side that is cooling is freezing but the other side is not going below 80 degrees.

  1. You don’t seem to be ducted properly.Try partially closing your register vents where it is coldest and opening those where warmest.

  2. It could be anything.
    The insulation on the walls on the one side of the house could not be installed properly heating the whole side of the house like a fernus.
    It could be your air conditioner unit not working properly. Maybe the duct work is covering the vents on the floor or cieling.
    Having the house only 6 months old, it could be a improper instilation of the airconditioner instead of it just not working allof the sudden.
    Idk.

  3. Sounds like it is undersized or not ducted properly.

  4. Leaks in duct work.
