Sweden Or Norway – Where, Why And How Much?
I am going away for a week at the end of January – beginning of February. I am on a budget. I fancy Sweden or Norway. Can anyone give me any recommendations, things to do, prices etc

Both are pretty expensive, but Sweden is a little cheaper when it comes to accomodation and food. If you only have a week, you should limit your travels to a minimum, because otherwise you won`t see much. And during the winter, you only have daylight for about five to six hours (further north closer to three hours or less).
I would recommend going either to Stockholm (lots to do and see) or divide your time between Gothenburg and Oslo or Copenhagen (okay, it is Denmark, but worth a visit) and Malmo. The distances are not too big (Copenhagen to Malmo just about ten minutes by train or 40 minutes by boat) and so you can see two cities in different countries.
If you like ski-ing, you`d better chose Norway or northern Sweden, not too crowded, but very good conditions.
Hope that helps!
No offense to Sweden, but Norway is more beautiful………………..but the best of all is Finland. Well both the countries are expensive………..
