I have had this neighbor for the last 3.5 years, and all I really know about her is that she walks around in her yard during the summer wearing skimpy clothes (she is VERY overweight) and reports my husband and me to whatever authority she can anytime she thinks she has opportunity.
The first incident was her reporting me to animal control because my dog who suffered from severe allergies looked neglected because he was skinny and losing his hair. Animal control showed up at my house and took my dog until I could prove with vet records that he was under medical care!
Then my husband was building a shop and she reported him to the city because she didn’t think he had proper permits (everything was fine).
Then most recently she reported me because one of my dogs had gotten out of his pen during a thunderstorm (he is scared of thunder), and she put him back, fed them so much that they got very sick and then called animal control again on me for neglect. Animal control came out and cleared the complaint because everything was perfectly fine!
My husband and I just mind our own business, and we are so sick of her and the problems she causes! What should we do?

My parents are divorced and I live with my mom and visit my dad on weekends. My mom has been dating a guy for about a year now and I like him a lot. My dad just recently started dating and he had his new girlfriend Julie move in with him. I know my dad has been lonely living all by himself and he seems to really like Julie. She seems nice but I don’t think she is right for my dad. I tried to tell him but he acted upset that I was ok with my mom having a new boyfriend but not about Julie. He thinks I just don’t want him to be happy but that’s not true at all! There are several things I don’t like about Julie. For starters she is only 6 years older than me. She doesn’t have a job and she expects my dad to pay for everything and I think she’s just using him. She seems nice but she is kind of dumb, and my dad is really smart so I don’t understand what he sees in her! She is always acting and dressing skanky. She makes out with my dad in front of me and my brother. She drinks a lot and smokes too. Also she is always flirting with my dad and making inappropriate comments and grabbing his butt. Then the other day when we were staying at my dad’s house, Julie came downstairs to make us breakfast and she was wearing some super slutty lingerie. She had on this trashy looking lacy top that barely covered her boobs and you could see her nipples right through it, then these thong panties that went up her *** and so see thru in the front that I could see her pubes and camel toe, yuck! My brother is only 10 and he was staring at her the whole time! Of course Julie is so stupid that she was just talking to him like nothing is wrong and she didn’t even notice him staring right at her boobs. Finally my dad came downstairs and told her he would finish cooking and she should go get dressed. She was just like “oh okay!” like an idiot. I gave my dad a look but he just smiled like it was no big deal. How could he be so stupid to date a ditz like that? Why doesn’t he realize he is too good for her? Any time I try to talk to him about her he acts all defensive and says that I should try being friends with her, but I don’t want to be her friend. She is supposed to be more mature than me not less! What should I do? How can I explain this to my dad without hurting his feelings?
