My furnace starts to knock drastically if it gets fed too much water, it seems to be doing just that according the the water site gage. Then it starts to get into the radiators in the house. How do I stop it from feeding the furnace when there’s evidently enough water there? Thank you for your time to answer.

I’m a business student but I still can’t grasp how prices go up and down in the stock market. I’m trying to learn through stock market games but to pick a winning stock is just hard if I can’t have a fundamental analysis to choosing a winning stock. Hope the business minded people can help! thanks!

I’m looking to start my own charity/fund-raiser for 8-10 different causes. What are the 1st steps, legally? I live in Dubai, who do I contact legally and how can I send the donations/clothes? I’m willing to invest alot in this so I can’t make it non-profit, because I’m planning to keep it going and increasing it, so would you say 90% charity and 10% profit is too much? advise internationally and tips would be really appreciated too.

My 11 year old sister is getting a collectors dolls house for her birthday and she doesn’t know. She has seen them before and commented that for the people ‘She wanted nice ones, not wooden ones, with modern clothes, not looking so old fashioned.’ I have looked on google and all of the things I have found have really ugly people in old, frilly dresses. I have looked on ebay – same thing. Anybody have any suggestions where I can get modern ‘grown up peoples’ dolls house people? Thanks for the help – I really appreciate it. I will probably need a mum, a dad, 2 children and a dog if that helps in anyway, but this is flexible.
Oh, and I live in the UK, but may be willing to get them from elsewhere, depending on the postage and how nice they are!

Some stock prices are hard to evaluate. For example, lets say that a particular stock’s float is practically bought out, we can assume that the stock price will skyrocket… Right? Not in my situation, though. Your thoughts? Also, are there good books out there that tell it all as is?

I work for a private company which is owned by my boss’ family. During the firm’s reorganization on 1/1/2005, my boss’ wife acquired 20% of the company’s ownership and gave 4% to me as a gife at the same time. The gift stock she gave me cost her $26,000, with a $27,000 fair value on 1/1/2005.
Now, the fair value of my stock increases to $38000. I plan to cash out 25% of it (worth $9500).
Questions:
1. What would be my tax consequence and cost basis? Should I pay estimate tax before liquidating the stock?
FYI, my annual gross income is $40,000 (Salary).
2. What would be the tax consequence for my employer (the firm)? How should the firm report such liquidating transaction? On 1099DIV for $27000, $26000, $95,00, or what?
Thanks in advance for your kindly assistance.
