On My Xbox 360 Dashboard I Havent Got The Mandatory Update To Get Facebook And Twitter.?

i have gotten given the My Community heading and the the Music Marketplace heading, but i havent done a mandatory(or so i think it is) update, it was meant to be released today, 17/11/09.
i havent got facebook or twitter or last fm,
i have got a childs acount but no parental locks or anything its turned off, do i need to get a whole new account to change it to adult?

    If you have a ‘child’ account you can’t access Last.fm, Facebook, or Twitter. You need to make a new account or turn 18 to get off of the ‘child’ settings.
    This is causing me to sell my xbox and get a PS3

    cannot access those services via the
    Xbox 360…..You have to be 18 or old
    to access it and a XBL Gold member
